Apartments (Low Care):
A typical Apartment consists of a bed-sitting room with an ensuite consisting of toilet, shower and vanity unit. Some toiletries are provided. These apartments are occupied exclusively by one resident, there are also units for couples available. The rooms are maintained weekly and this covers the cleaning, changing of the linen and bath towels.
Staff are in attendance 24 hours a day and assist where required with showering and other personal needs. Each residents medication is supervised and dispensed at the appropriate time. A Doctor attends the village on a weekly basis an a surgery and chemist is located nearby.
Independant Living Units:
This boutique sized retirement village is surrounded by level grounds with paths and gardens and has 16 two bedroom independant living units, of which 12 were completed in late 2006 and are now ready for occupation. These units ensure the individuality of each resident while maintaining a family atmosphere.
Each unit is fitted with a 24 hour emergency call button which is connected to staff.
For the more active resident wanting to be involved in activities within the local community there is a bowling club nearby as well as many community organisations and churches which meet regularly.
